Is Whole Human Psychiatry a Good Fit for You?

Let’s find out in two minutes.

I run a small, selective private practice. Before requesting an intake packet, let’s start with a short fit check to see whether this kind of care is likely to match what you’re looking for (and that I can legally treat you).

1) Location

I’m currently licensed to provide psychiatric care to people located in Arizona and Colorado.

  • If you’re in Arizona or Colorado, keep going.
  • If you’re outside Arizona or Colorado, please see “If we’re not a fit” below.

2) Modality

This practice is telepsychiatry only (video visits).

3) Payment

I’m private pay and do not accept insurance. My standard rates are:

  • $600 – 60-minute initial session
  • $375 – 50-minute standard session (50-minutes)
  • $300 – 25-minute abbreviated session (established clients only)

I do have patient-specific rate reductions (not a sliding scale) for:

  • College students
  • People on a fixed income (disability, retirees)

4) What you’re looking for

My practice is a good fit if you’re looking for thoughtful, relationship-centered psychiatric care that can include psychotherapy and medication management (when appropriate).

5) Primary area of fit

I’m best positioned to help if you primarily identify with one of these:

  • Burned-out healthcare professionals
  • Neurodivergent adults (ADHD)
  • LGBTQ+ adults
  • These conditions

If you’re a fit

If the points above match your situation, the next step is to request an intake packet.

If we’re not a fit (right now)

If any of the following are true, I’m likely not the right clinician at this time:

  • You’re not currently located in Arizona or Colorado
  • You’re looking for in-person care
  • You need insurance-based care
  • You’re looking to address an issue that isn’t my focus.

I know that’s disappointing. I’d rather be clear upfront than take you through an intake process that can’t lead to care.
